Located in the prestigious "Rocks District" of Milton-Freewater, Waterstone Estate Vineyard is a premier site known for its unique terroir and exceptional Syrah production. This vineyard's rocky soils and optimal growing conditions contribute to the distinctive character and high quality of the wines produced here.
Harvest and Production
The wine was harvested at 24.5 Brix and naturally fermented as a 100% whole cluster selection. The blend consists of 95% Syrah from Waterstone Vineyard and 5% Petit Sirah from Windy Point Vineyard. It was aged for 30 months in neutral French barrels, with one barrel being second-use Allier oak, which adds subtle complexity without overpowering the wine.
