2021 Hallowed Stones Cabernet Sauvignon

The Hallowed Stones wines are the culmination of our multi-generational efforts to create the purest expressions of terroir and to let our estate fruit tell the story of the rocky soils on which it is grown. The Rocks District of Milton-Freewater is unique in the winegrowing world -  vines are planted directly into the rocky soils and the grapes hang nearly to the ground in order to maximize their exposure to the solar radiation provided by the river stones, and to absorb minerality through the roots that weave through the rocks.

On the nose this wine has great rich cranberry, smokey vanillia, and dark cherry. The pallet comes to life with the fruit from the pallet and the added completity of mineralty, tobaco leaf, and nutmeg. The acide and fruit of the wine really show how well structed it is and balanced thoughtout its pallet .
