2021 Winemakers Series Petit Verdot
Vineyard and Terroir Notes
The 2021 Winemaker's Series Petit Verdot is sourced exclusively from the Anna Marie North Vineyard in the Walla Walla Valley. Nestled in the foothills of the Blue Mountains, this vineyard features sandy loam soils and benefits from warm days and cool nights. These conditions are ideal for developing the bold structure and intense flavors that define this 100% Petit Verdot.
Production Notes
This wine was crafted with meticulous attention to detail, fermented in stainless steel open-top tanks to preserve the purity of its fruit. It was then aged for 18 months in 33% new French oak, enhancing its complexity and structure while allowing the varietal’s inherent power and elegance to shine.
