The 2023 Chardonnay is crafted from two key vineyard sites: 57% from Reyna Vineyard in Wenatchee and 43% from Oasis Vineyard, located just west of the Columbia River, near Benton City in the Columbia Valley. The North-to-South orientation of the rows at Oasis Vineyard allows balanced sun exposure, promoting optimal ripening. The sandy loam soils of the Columbia Valley, coupled with long sunlight hours, enhance the wine’s acidity and fruit concentration. Meanwhile, the cooler climate of Reyna Vineyard contributes crispness and minerality, providing a well-rounded profile.
Tasting Notes
This 2023 Chardonnay opens with vibrant notes of citrus, green apple, and stone fruit, complemented by hints of vanilla and subtle oak. The palate is well-rounded, with bright acidity and a smooth, lingering finish, showcasing a perfect balance of freshness and richness.
