2024 Reserve Chardonnay
Vineyard and Terroir
The 2024 Chardonnay was sourced from McKinley Springs Vineyard in the Columbia Valley, where warm days and cool nights create ideal conditions for ripening Chardonnay with balance and finesse. The vineyard’s well-drained soils and consistent sunlight contribute to concentrated fruit and vibrant acidity, hallmarks of this classic growing region.
Production
Harvested at an average yield of 4.5 tons per acre, this Chardonnay was fermented and aged entirely in French oak barrels for six months. Full malolactic fermentation was encouraged to develop a creamy texture and layered complexity, while careful oak management preserved varietal character and freshness.
Tasting Notes
A golden straw hue introduces aromas of ripe pear, baked apple, and vanilla bean, with a hint of toasted hazelnut. On the palate, it is rich and rounded yet balanced, showing orchard fruit, subtle spice, and a smooth, lingering finish.
