2022 Winemakers Series Pinot Noir
Vineyard and Terroir
Sourced from select sites within Oregon’s renowned Willamette Valley AVA, this limited release Pinot Noir showcases the region’s ideal cool-climate conditions. Long, temperate growing seasons paired with well-drained volcanic and marine sedimentary soils produce fruit with nuanced character, finesse, and expressive aromatics. This terroir contributes vibrant acidity and complexity, hallmarks of world-class Pinot Noir.
Production
Crafted with precision and patience, this wine was fermented in stainless steel open-top tanks to maintain fresh fruit expression and delicacy. After fermentation, the wine was aged for 24 months in a combination of 22% new French oak and 78% neutral barrels. This balanced oak program softens the wine while preserving its varietal purity and elegance.
Tasting Notes
This Pinot Noir opens with elegant aromas of wild strawberry, red cherry, and subtle rose petal. Hints of clove, forest floor, and delicate spice add intrigue on the nose. The palate is silky and layered, showcasing red berry fruit, gentle earthiness, and a soft touch of vanilla from extended oak aging. Fine-grained tannins and bright acidity deliver a graceful structure, leading to a refined, lingering finish. A true expression of Willamette Valley Pinot—elegant, balanced, and crafted with intention.
